Damage to Temporal (Facial) Nerve from Mohs Surgery - Incidence and Prevention

This study evaluated the incidence and risk factors for temporal (facial) nerve branch injury during Mohs surgery. The authors identified high-risk anatomic zones and provided strategies for minimizing iatrogenic nerve damage during tumor extirpation and reconstruction.
