This study evaluated outcomes of electrodesiccation and curettage (ED&C) for squamous cell carcinoma in situ (SCCis). Results demonstrated reasonable cure rates for ED&C in treating SCCis, though recurrence rates varied by anatomic location and lesion size.

  • ED&C can be an effective treatment option for SCCis in carefully selected cases, particularly smaller lesions on the trunk and extremities.
