This study evaluated the availability and quality of patient education tools used in Mohs dermatologic surgery practices. The assessment identified gaps in existing educational materials and provided recommendations for developing more effective patient-facing resources.

Current patient education tools for Mohs surgery vary widely in quality and may not address common patient concerns adequately.

Developing standardized, evidence-based patient education materials can improve preoperative understanding and reduce anxiety.
