This study described the implementation and outcomes of a structured skin cancer surveillance program for solid organ transplant recipients. The program demonstrated improved early detection of skin cancers and better adherence to dermatologic follow-up in this high-risk population.

Abstract

Solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients are at increased risk for skin cancer due to long-term immunosuppression. However, this risk is heterogeneous across the SOT population.
